To complete our marketing team in Ho Chi Minh City, we are looking for a Sr. Market Research Consultant with excellent skills in qualitative research and the ability turn consumer insights into marketing strategies.

The ideal applicant has significant work experience in both market research and marketing. The applicant is adept at interviewing consumers in order understand how their preferences and requirements affect their purchasing habits and can translate this understanding into concrete proposals for a marketing campaign. The Sr. Market Research Consultant will have a strong interest in agriculture and appreciates working in an environment where diverse assignments can be managed simultaneously. The applicant has excellent analytical skills, is results driven and proactively takes on new assignments.


This role is responsible for conducting market research, translating it into marketing strategy, and translating the strategy into tactical instruments, as well as other marketing related tasks for high quality value chains of fresh produce. The selected applicant will be able to: identify consumer and social trends and gather market information in order to give actionable recommendations for brand and marketing strategies; provide insight into consumers and the direct sales channels used to reach them; use that insight to establish effective marketing campaigns; and understand the operations of the value chain and how those operations will impact the customer experience.


Lead market research studies – from developing the surveys to collecting data through surveys, interviews (especially focus groups) and other sources

Analyze data and present the finding to clients, through presentations, reports or both

Translate the results of market research into a marketing strategy, communicate this strategy to the client through reports and presentations, and develop communication materials to support the strategy

Implement the marketing strategy in close collaboration with the client

Develop the marketing operations to support the strategy, as well as measure and evaluate the results from both the client and customer perspective

With the support of a small team, implement best practices in project management to ensure the desired outcomes of each assignment

Build long-lasting relationships with clients and seek new opportunities for Fresh Studio in the local market



Desired qualifications and skills


At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably as a consultant

Experience in both qualitative and quantitative consumer research methodologies (among others surveys, focus groups)

Experience in both development and implementation of marketing campaigns

Experience in project management

Marketing experience in FMCG, preferably food industry,

Experience with various statistical programs

Minimum requirements: A MSc university degree in an analytical and/or business-related field of study.
