Desired qualifications and skills: our ideal candidate

You have a passion for growing vegetables of flowers, a strong drive to test and introduce new technologies to growers to make them more successful in the production of their crops and care that their crops are produced sustainable and in compliance with food safety standards. You graduated in the field of Horticulture or Agriculture with vegetables and are looking for an opportunity to put your skills knowledge to work. You are a people person who enjoy working in an authentic working environment with transparency and passion. You are willing to bring a high degree of professionalism and enthusiasm to your job.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Implementation of assigned tasks of Fresh Studio projects in the Mekong Delta, ranging from:

4Data collection form farmers and other parties involved in a supply chain

4Setup and monitor trials of various crops

4Provide technical support to farmers and farmer groups

4Provide training to farmers and farmer groups

4Arrange field days to share new knowledge and technologies to local farmers and other interested persons

4Support farmers in record keeping

4Coordinate and ensure correct installation and operation by farmers and farmer groups of agricultural technologies provided to them

4Support any other assigned activities

Desired qualifications:

Minimum Educational Requirement:

4Graduated from college/university of Horticulture/Agriculture (BSc), experience in the production of vegetables (especially shallot), experience in the training of famers is an advantage.

Language:

4Excellent in both verbal and written Vietnamese

4English communication and writing skills are an advantage

Special Skills Required:

4At least 2-year experience with vegetable production

4Good communication skills (with local farmers)

4A strong passion to learn and develop new agriculture technologies and knowledge and make them available for farmers

4Basic word, Excel, PowerPoint skills

4Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team

4Trustworthy
