I. Job identification
Position : Aquaculture Specialist
Department : R&D Aquaculture
Location : Can Tho
II. Key Organizational Relationships
Report to : Aquaculture Manager
III. Summary of responsibilities
Working alongside Fresh Studio aquaculture specialists and technicians to implement project activities ranging from farm surveys and data collection to R&D and technical support.
VI. Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with consultancy assignments in Vietnam
- Conduct field research using both structured and unstructured data collection techniques
- Analysis of market and field data
- Coordinate field experiments and technology tests
- Support the development of our technical support services for farmers
- Participate in other projects assigned by the Aquaculture Manager
V. Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in aquaculture or a similar position (R&D/project experience is an advantage)
- Good command of Vietnamese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, partners, and clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proactive, trustworthy, and eager to learn and develop
- Willing to work in the field and travel to project sites across Vietnam
- Comfortable working in a transparent, collaborative, and international environment
- Positive attitude and passion for aquaculture
