The leading agriculture consulting and R&D firm of Southeast Asia is looking for a Junior/Senior IPM Specialist
To further strengthen our Vietnam team of agriculture consultants supporting farmers in improving their agriculture practices, we are looking for an IPM Specialist based in Da Lat (Vietnam)
Report to : R&D Director Crops / R&D Manager Crops
Supervise : N/A
III. Summary of responsibilities
This position will provide knowledge and agricultural technologies to vegetable farmers. Responsibilities of this position are to support our IPM project activities, such as set up demo crops for IPM, data collection, and training of farmers, and support other project activities as assigned.
IV. Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Implementation of assigned tasks of Fresh Studio projects in the Lam Dong, ranging from:
Data collection from farmers and other parties involved in IPM project
Setup and monitor IPM demo crops
Provide technical support to farmers and farmer groups
Provide training for farmers and farmer groups
Arrange field days to share new knowledge and technologies with local farmers and other interested people
Support farmers in record-keeping
Coordinate and ensure correct installation and operation by farmers and farmer groups of agricultural technologies provided to them
Support any other assigned activities
V. Desired qualifications:
Minimum Educational Requirement:
Graduated from college/university of Horticulture/Agriculture (BSc), experience in the IPM, indoor vegetable production, experience in the natural enemies is an advantage.
Language:
Excellent in both verbal and written Vietnamese
English communication and writing skills are an advantage
Special Skills Required:
At least 2 years’ experience with IPM, vegetable production
Good communication skills (with local farmers)
A strong passion for learning and developing new agriculture technologies and knowledge and making them available to farmers
Basic Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team

You are a professional with a proven track-record in irrigation systems and have an interest in working for a multinational company. You graduated with the major of Mechanical Engineer and are looking for an opportunity to develop your career path in this sector. Provide system recommendations/advice to to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring effective solutions
Manage the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of irrigation systems to maintain high performance and efficiency
Create and develop innovative irrigation systems, focusing on both new designs and improvements to existing systems
Identify and target potential clients to grow the business and increase market reach
Contribute to the development and improvement of related agricultural technologies and products, such as films, seeds, and substrates
Conduct research and client surveys to understand their needs for agricultural products and technologies, ensuring timely updates of client information
Perform other related tasks/duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Experience
Minimum 3 year of relevant experience with irrigation system
Special Skills required
Excellent in both verbal and written Vietnamese
Basic English skill
Can use graphics software (AutoCAD)
Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
Well organized, precise and accurate
Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
Passionate about agriculture and a drive to explore unpaved paths

Education Technical College degree or BSc. degree, preferable with a major in mechanical engineer
